Beef Filling:

1 lb ground sirloin

1 tbsp olive or vegetable oil

1 medium onion, chopped
-
2 cloves garlic, minced

1¼ cups beef broth
-
2 tsp cornstarch (for proper taco texture)

Instructions

Crisp the shells (optional but fire):

Heat oil to 350 °F in a skillet. Fry folded tortillas ~30 sec per side until crispy. Keep warm.

Cook the aromatics:

In a skillet, heat oil over medium. Sauté onion until soft (~3–4 min), then add garlic and cook another 30 sec.

Brown the beef:

Add ground sirloin, breaking it up. Cook until no pink remains (~3–4 min).
